2. UC Health Grand Rounds
Join a virtual grand rounds panel “Data and intelligence across University of California Health: What’s real, what’s allowed, and what’s artificial?” Hosted by UC Irvine, this panel provides distinguished speakers, including new Chief AI Officers from two UC Health systems, a space to discuss the intersection of AI and data science in healthcare. The discussion will elaborate on the ways the UC can harness AI to drive its healthcare systems forward while also considering the legalities and regulations of a fast-growing field.

3. BruinTech Events Submission Form
Submit any events you want to market to our Events Submission Form, which can also be used to send event suggestions to the BruinTech Executive Board. These can be upcoming events that you’d like us to help publicize, or they can be proposals for events that you’d like to see BruinTech plan and coordinate.

4. EDUCAUSE Top 10 2024 Webinar
Every year, EDUCAUSE deliberates on the Top 10 topics and issues that the association believes higher education will face. For 2024, EDUCAUSE outlined the contributions that technology, data, and the workforce offer to advance facets of institutional resilience: mission resilience, operational resilience, and financial resilience. To follow-up on their findings, EDUCAUSE will be hosting a webinar discussing the Top 10 topics announced in their article.

5. Internet Discounts through the Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is available to eligible households who want to take advantage of internet service discounts and a one-time device discount. The program aims to improve access to education, work, and healthcare by providing accessible internet. Discounts include up to $30 discounts for internet per month (can be higher depending on household eligibility) as well as up to discounts off a laptop, desktop, or tablet from participating providers. Please share this information to anyone who may need the support, and encourage them to learn more about the eligibility details on the official government page.
