1. BruinTech 2025 Scholarship Applications - Closing!

As we approach the deadline, here is a last call to apply for the BruinTech 2025 scholarship application.

Four (4) scholarships will be awarded:

  • Three (3), $1,000 scholarships for a UCLA Extension course
  • One (1), Jackie Reynolds Scholarship which covers the cost of a seat to the UCLA Extension Technical Management Program (TMP).

2. Bar Raiser Summit 2025

The UCLA Bar Raiser Series is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of communications and events professionals across the UCLA campus.  This year, the spotlight is on the transformative power of storytelling to anchor individuals and organizations through leadership transitions, technological advancements, and evolving societal landscapes.

Key speakers include Chancellor Julio Frenk and Associate of the Chancellor Dr. Felicia Marie Knaul.

3. Nominations Open for 2025 UC Tech Award Applications 

We are approaching the deadline for UC Tech Awards 2025 applications to nominate your colleagues or self.  The winners will be celebrated at the UC Tech Awards ceremony on June 26 at UC Riverside.  This year introduces the new "AI Impact Award," encouraging innovative projects in artificial intelligence. 

All applicants will have their submissions reviewed by Chief Information Officers and published online, with winners receiving a complimentary pass to the UC Tech Conference

4. Educause Showcase Series: A Matter of Trust

A Matter Of Trust

As part of the Data Privacy Month series we want to highlight the EDUCAUSE Showcase Series 2025, titled "A Matter of Trust", focusing on how higher education can demonstrate its values and people through protecting institutions amid change, taking a risk management approach to privacy, and establishing common ground in how higher education collaborates with industry partners.
