1. BruinTech Survey: What are your thoughts on Canva?

With the recent rollout of Canva for UCLA staff and faculty, the BruinTech Board would like to invite our campus partners Strategic Communications to present on the platform. 

But first, what would you like to know about? We would like to survey our community to learn more about your Canva usage, access, and future opportunities.

Share your thoughts via this survey by Thursday, March 6th!

 

2. Call for Volunteers - 2025 BruinTech Spring Conference

Save the date: This year’s BruinTech conference will be held in-person on Thursday, May 29. More details to follow!

Volunteers Needed - Join Us in Creating an Unforgettable Conference!

The BruinTech Board is thrilled to announce that we are seeking volunteers to help organize and plan our upcoming conference. If you are passionate about the UCLA IT experience and eager to share the stories of tech enthusiasts across campus, we invite you to join one of our subcommittees.

3. UC Tech Awards - Approaching March 3rd Deadline for Nominations

If you have an interesting project/ work that you have implemented in the past 3 years or know someone who did and would like to showcase it, this is your last chance before the March 3rd deadline to nominate your colleagues or self for UC Tech Awards 2025 applications.  The winners will be celebrated at the UC Tech Awards ceremony on June 26 at UC Riverside.  This year introduces the new "AI Impact Award," encouraging innovative projects in artificial intelligence. 

All applicants will have their submissions reviewed by Chief Information Officers and published online, with winners receiving a complimentary pass to the UC Tech Conference

4. UCLA AMG group : 2025 Annual Leadership Conference

 The 2025 Annual Leadership Conference hosted by UCLA's Administrative Management Group (AMG) will take place on April 30, 2025, at Carnesale Commons. This year's theme, "The Bruin Connection: Building Community through Leadership," emphasizes the importance of connecting with others and fostering an inclusive environment. The conference will feature a full day of keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities. Registration is open to all UCLA staff, with a fee of $145. 

The deadline to register is March 31, 2025. Don't miss out on this   opportunity  to enhance your leadership skills and expand your network.
