1.  A.I. and Information Literacy Workshop

UCLA Library and the Teaching Learning Center is inviting UCLA instructors, administrators, and instruction support staff to join this workshop discussing A.I’s effects on instructional design, including assignments, student research and output, and also information literacy skill development. This workshop will be a mixture of presentations and small group discussions focusing on A.I. tools, methods, and integration.

If you know any faculty, teaching assistants, and instructors who are interested in this topic, please share the below information.

2. TritonGPT Webinar

TritonGPT was launched in Spring 2024 with the goal of providing users information on UC San Diego’s policies, procedures, and campus life. If you’re 

interested in learning more, UCSD is hosting a webinar open to anyone in the UC to showcase TritonGPT’s roadmap, capabilities, and upcoming features.

3. EDUCAUSE Quick Poll: TPRM

What does third-party risk management look like across higher education? EDUCAUSE recently polled universities across the country in their TPRM Quick Poll. Per EDUCAUSE’s results, a majority of institutions said they do not have formalized TPRM policies and recognize the need for formal processes and investment in TPRM.
