2. True Bruin Welcome

Welcome UCLA Bruins!  True Buins Welcome is an exciting week long event starting from September 22 to 28, 2024. Designed to help new and returning students connect with the UCLA community, ignite their passions, and uphold traditions.  Students can participate in various events, meet new people, and make lasting memories. Some of the highlights include:

  • Graduate Student Orientation: September 16-18
  • Commuter Student Welcome: September 22
  • Chancellor’s Welcome: September 22
  • UCLA Spirit Day: September 27
  • UCLA Football vs Oregon: September 28

3. SmartSheet Free Live Training for the UC’s only

Smartsheet is offering two FREE & LIVE information sessions for the University of California on October 15th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to Noon PST. 

You do NOT need to have a Smartsheet License to attend!

The recording will be distributed to everyone who attends.

 

SESSION 1: "Smartsheet 101" - Overview with Q&A from 9:00 to 10:30 AM PST

This session will cover the essentials in Smartsheet: workflow automation, reports, dashboards, forms, and more.

SESSION 2: "Smartsheet Advanced Features" from 10:30 AM - Noon PST

This session will cover the premium apps now available to many groups across the UC: Control Center, Dynamic View, Data Shuttle, Pivot App & Calendar App. (Availability of these depends on your plan type).

4. Registration closes in two days for UC Cybersecurity Summit

Hurry!! Registration closes September 22nd for the UC Cybersecurity Summit. Sessions include responsible AI, alerts overload, an Experian breach update, along with multiple breakout and engagement opportunities. The full-day summit will be held on October 9 at UC Irvine.
