Design Systems for DevelopersUCLA Strategic Communications invites BruinTech members to join them at their upcoming workshop dedicated to covering the practical use of their new UCLA Design System. CITRIS Research Exchange: Independent Community-rooted AI ResearchFor the final speech of the recent four-part Fall 2023 CITRIS Research Exchange seminar series, Timnit Gebru will be speaking on how the Distributed AI Research Institute (DAIR) aims to subvert AI trends prevalent in Big Tech corporations. As DAIR’s founder and executive director, Gebru will explain how employing smaller task-specific models can both outperform corporate models and distribute power across grassroots organizations.
