3. UC Tech Conference 2025 Announcement

The annual UC Tech Conference, a key event for networking, learning, and career advancement, will be held from June 25-27, 2025, at UC Riverside. This conference, which has been running for over 40 years, brings together 11,000 UC tech employees and technology partners across the University of California.

This year's theme is "Innovate. Integrate. Inspire: Transforming Higher Ed Through Technology". The conference will feature seven distinct program tracks, including Innovation and Emerging Technologies, Leadership & Change Management, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Security, Compliance & Privacy, Systems and Solutions, Teaching, Learning, and Student Success, and Health Sciences.

4. XR Design Subcommittee Kickoff Meeting 

The XR Design Subcommittee invites everyone to its kickoff session on Tuesday, March 11 at 2:30pm via Zoom. This group welcomes individuals interested in exploring and learning about XR design, from experienced professionals to beginners. It will be a creative and collaborative space for sharing ideas, exchanging resources, and building connections.

During the kickoff meeting, participants' input on topics of interest will be gathered, and exciting plans for the year ahead will be discussed.

Insights from attendees will help shape the direction of the group, so all thoughts and ideas are welcome.
