1. BruinTech Monthly MeetUp

Join us for the inaugural BT monthly meetup, where you can bring your own lunch and enjoy the company of fellow IT professionals from across UCLA.

Light refreshments(drinks and snacks) will be provided.

Where: At Broad in ‘Untitled Room’,

When: March 20th from 12 - 1pm.

For members who are driving to campus, it is recommended to park at ‘Parking Structure 3’.

2. Join us for a Learn at Lunch: Canva Session!

BruinTech warmly invites you to our upcoming Learn at Lunch session on Tuesday, April 1, from 12-1 PM (via Zoom).

We are excited to feature Paul Choi, Digital Art Director from Strategic Communications, who will guide us through the various features of Canva (freemium vs. premium), provide insights on license resources, and share available Canva guides.

Canva is a user-friendly platform, making this session perfect for everyone. It will be particularly beneficial for members of the UCLA IT community involved in marketing, communications, design, or those supporting staff in these areas.

3. Submit Your Session Proposal for UC Tech 2025!

UC Tech 2025 is now accepting session proposals for this year's conference. This is a fantastic opportunity for members of the UC community to share their success stories, lessons learned, and unique perspectives. The theme for this year is "Innovate. Integrate. Inspire: Transforming Higher Ed Through Technology."

Whether a first-time presenter or a seasoned expert, all submissions are welcome. The Program Committee and UC Tech Ambassadors will review the proposals, with notifications sent out in early April. The deadline for submissions is March 27, 2025.  Submit your proposal today!

4. UC Cyber Risk Program 2024 Annual Report
