2. EDUCAUSE Annual Conference
Folks, we’re heading into conference season! Just a few days before UC Tech 2024, EDUCAUSE is holding its annual conference on October 21-24 at San Antonio, TX. The online version of this event will be held on November 13-14. Registration is open! You can check out the programs and sign up for notifications on the EDUCAUSE website. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other professionals working in higher education technology!

3. UCLA Extension Enrollment
UCLA students will be returning to campus in about a month to further their learning and development. Staff members have a similar opportunity in the form of UCLA Extension. The EdTech magazine featured a plan for how higher education institutions might prepare students for the inevitable adoption of AI. Written by Paul Jonas, technical director of FirePoint Innovations Center at Wichita State University, the article offers 6 ideas:
