Gabriel Ruiz is a triple Bruin, B.A. in Economics ('99), MLIS ('10), and Anderson Executive Program ('14),  who has spent over 26 years at UCLA, rising from student IT worker to CTO & Director of Infrastructure & IT Operations within Anderson Computing & Information Services (ACIS). A longtime champion of the UCLA IT community, he proudly served on the BruinTech Executive Board from 2014 to 2018, culminating in a term as President (2016–17). He is passionate about bridging bridges between faculty research and IT, a collaboration at the heart of today's presentation with Professor Corinne Bendersky on the Agentic Interview Platform for studying LA City employees at scale.
